Passport to the Dolomites 2.0

The Dolomites Passport app is inspired by the “Passport to the Dolomites”, a small booklet that real enthusiasts of the area use and guard jealously to this day. In the printed version, there is a stamp for each mountain hut, issued by the manager as proof of the hiker’s visit. It provides a way to keep track of the various hikes completed and serves as a reminder of the unique emotions that only the mountain landscape can offer. The app does not add to this experience, but rather enhances the journey with practical information always on hand regardless of whether you have an Internet connection.

The traditional stamps of the printed version of the Passport to the Dolomites are integrated into the app and appear in the form of badges. When a hiker reaches a point of interest, such as a viewpoint, mountain hut, museum or park visitor centre, they can check in. This interactive feature of the app enables users to earn points and challenge their friends!
