The UNESCO Dolomites feed is a banner to be added to the homepage of websites, available for all those who sign up for the project. The banner, which carries the logo of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation, features the main news regarding the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site, directly connected to www.dolomitiunesco.info. Once installed, the banner automatically updates each time new content is added to the Foundation’s website.
The aim of the UNESCO Dolomites feed
The primary aim of the UNESCO Dolomites feed is to raise awareness of activities carried out by different parties across the area, sharing information and promoting our Heritage. The need for this was identified during the 11 local participatory meetings. Those contributing to #Dolomiti2040 suggested creating an information point in the municipalities of the UNESCO area to inform citizens of the importance of this status and about the activities associated with it. In agreement with the Foundation’s Scientific Committee, this proposal was adopted and extended to all parties promoting the status as a UNESCO Site.
