“Noi Dolomiti” is also on TV

After a summer dedicated to social communication on the stories of people living and working in the World Heritage Site, and to the major issues related to visiting the mountains in the era of climate crisis, the “Noi Dolomiti” [We the Dolomites] videos are also being aired on TV.

Where and when

The new episodes of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation‘s communication project, conceived and executed by journalist Giambattista Zampieri, have been airing on Telebelluno since 9 October and continue every Monday at 8 and 10 pm (repeating on Tuesdays at 9:55 a.m. and at 1:20 p.m.); on Trentino TV and AltoAdige TV on Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. (repeating on Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. and Sundays at 11:30 a.m.); and on Telefriuli, where programming started on October 22 and will continue every Sunday at 1:45 p.m. (repeating every Saturday at 7:45 p.m.)

300 stories and as many points of view

The lives and daily challenges of mountain hut managers, the work of mountain guides and rescuers, the views of geologists, glaciologists, Park managers, administrators, and women and men who have dedicated their professional or research activities to alpine culture and its management – with the 2023 season, this legacy of stories has now reached 300. At the heart of the stories are the major themes of alpine tourism, living and working at high altitudes, the climate crisis and adaptation strategies.
