THE MOUNTAINS AT WAR:

MEN, SCIENCE, NATURE ON THE DOLOMITES FRONTLINE 1915-1918

This temporary travelling exhibition explores the events that marked the First World War from an unusual point of view, focusing on nature and the shape of the mountains, and how man used this to build a vast theatre of war.

The exhibition is sponsored and organised by MUSE – Trento Science Museum, the Geological Heritage Network of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation and the Foundation of the Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto.

The project was conceived and is curated by Marco Avanzini and Isabella Salvador of MUSE – Trento Science Museum.

The exhibition is open until 14 January 2017 at the Geological Museum of Predazzo from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
